What ages and skillset is appropriate for this program?

All ages and skillsets are welcome! We have teams for Kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, and 7th-8th grade. No experience is required--beginners are welcomed!



What time of the year does this program run?

Our club begins practices in the later half of February and games begin in the later half of March. The full season runs between February - June.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Our home field is Sumner Middle School and where our home games are played. Practices can fluctuate between Sumner Middle School and Mountain View Middle School (due to field lights and the time of year).

When are practices and how often are they?

Practice frequency varies by team. Traditionally the K/2 team practices once a week, the 3/4 and 5/6 teams twice a week, and the 7/8 team three times a week. Practice days typically fall on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Games are played on Saturdays with a few Sunday possibilities. Our Scheduler works hard to ensure that teams have a game every weekend of the season, with the possible exception of Spring Break. This typically equates to 8 games per season.

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Jerseys are purchased separately. Jersey numbers are assigned and players will keep their number as they move through different grade levels.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Additional fees include: USA Lacrosse membership fee, uniform/jersey, and player equipment (stick, mouthguard, and goggles).

USA Lacrosse membership fee is mandatory for any player who wishes to play lacrosse, regardless of their age, the state in which they live, or the club in which they play for.

LTLC offers equipment (goggles and stick) rentals if your player is new and trying the sport out for the first time. We also have a great sponsor that provides one fitted mouthguard per player at no cost.
