No, LTLC is proud to be a not-for-profit corporation and offers some of the lowest registration fees in the state.

Q: How do I pay?
At the end of the registration process, you will be asked to send a check to the LTLC treasurer.  Registration will not be considered complete until payment is received.

Q:
What if I am unable to pay?
LTLC was established to bring the game of lacrosse to all interested players, regardless of their financial situation.  If you have concerns, please consider applying for scholarship to help cover your player fees.   Applications are available online under “Documents” and can be mailed to the LTLC Treasurer.  Please contact a member of the LTLC board if you have any questions.

Q: When do I need to register?
The sooner the better!  Registrations are accepted on a first in/first on basis.  With the continued growth of lacrosse, we anticipate that all of the teams will fill quickly.  To guarantee your spot, register as soon as possible.   A late fee of $25 will be applied to registrations received after December 1.

Q: Why is LTLC starting the registration process so early?
The season may not begin until March, but there is a lot of planning that is already taking place!  To determine equipment and uniform needs, schedule games and assign coaches, we need to know how many players we will have next year.  The more information LTLC has now, the better we can serve you and your team.

Q: How are the teams organized?
3/4 and 5/6 teams are organized by grouping players according to their home schools to the greatest extent possible, with some balancing to ensure optimal team size.  Coaching staff, grade levels and player experience are also factored in.

The 7/8 league is structured with “A” and “B” divisions to assure that players compete with like competition.  During the first week of practice, players will participate in tryouts to determine their team placement.

High school players will also participate in tryouts the first week of practice to determine whether they will play on the JV or Varsity team.

Q: Where do LTLC players come from?
High School players must attend school in the Enumclaw, White River, Sumner or Auburn School Districts.

Q: When do we start?
Youth practices will begin in February, with games beginning in March.  Your coach will contact you by the beginning of February with practice times and locations.

High School practices begin March 1, 2010.

Q: When are practices and games?
Practice times and duration are up to each coach.  Youth teams generally have two practices during the week and a game on the weekend.  High school teams generally have two games during the week and will practice on weekdays when they do not have games.

Q: What equipment will I need to play?
All that youth players need to purchase is a stick!  LTLC will provide protective equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads and gloves) for all boys in grades 3-8.  To assure that equipment is returned in good condition and in a timely manner, a $200 deposit check will be collected when equipment is checked out.  The check will not be cashed and will be returned to you when equipment is checked in at the end of the season.

Girls will need to provide their own stick and eye protection.

High school players are expected to provide all of their own equipment.

New for 2010 season!!!  Varsity high school players will be required to have gloves that match in color.  The primary color of the glove should be black.  (If there is a trim color, it should be vegas gold or white).
