With the support of the Tacoma Youth Lacrosse Association, Lake Tapps Lacrosse was established in 2005 with one middle-school level team of 23 boys.  By 2008, the program grew to support 100 athletes on five teams ranging in age from third grade to high school.

In 2009, the Lake Tapps Lacrosse Club (LTLC) was formed to teach, govern and promote the sport of lacrosse in Lake Tapps and the surrounding areas, Bonney Lake, Buckley, Enumclaw, Sumner and White River. 

LTLC’s mission is to emphasize the development of skills, self-esteem, good sportsmanship, fitness and teamwork through the sport of lacrosse.

LTLC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a board of directors elected by the membership.

In 2010, LTLC continued the growth of lacrosse in our area by adding a middle school girl’s team.  In 2011, a 5/6 and high school girl's teams were established.  In 2012, the 3/4 girls began their very own team.

In 2015 the High School Boys teams and the High School girls teams split from LTLC and began playing for the local High Schools.

In 2018 Lake Tapps Lacrosse Club had grow so large that it was time to split. At the end of the 2018 season LTLC split into three boys clubs and one girls club. With the girls team retaining the LTLC name and its catchment areas for the Bonney Lake Sumner School District, Dieringer School District, Whiter River School District, and the Enumclaw School District.

LTLC continues to coach our youth in grades K through 8th, for all girls.
